I’ll start this but saying that I am a big Bruce Campbell fan. I loved Evil Dead and many of his other movies and tv shows, which will no-doubt be dotted about this list. I thought he could do no wrong, well this project proved me wrong it appears. This is a classic low budget movie, the plot was thin, the special effects were very bad and the whole feel of the movie was low budget. It was released in 2005 and was co-written and starred Ted Raimi whose brother directed Evil Dead. Ted also appeared in Evil Dead 2 as the evil old woman living in the basement. That unfortunately isn’t this film as the basic plot revolves around greed and backstabbing and ultimately the brain of a Russian taxi driver gets put into our hero’s Bruce’s head. Then the expected hilarity ensues, which honestly really didn’t work for me, I’ve tried to return to this movie but seeing a woman completely covered in silver being a robot. Every time I think of it, I inwardly cringe a little. Save yourself some time and not press play on this DVD. Oh, and before you ask it was included in a Bruce Campbell box set with some much better movies that included one that is on this list with a percentage of over ninety.
I was just discussing this movie and I quote “with this movie I was expecting a shit movie but even so this film still disappointed me”
