Moving into Double Digits

Writer's picture: MyersMyers

So here is the mid-section break where I will update the Tri-Critic Sync Challenge and discuss some little nuggets of information about what is coming in the next 50 movies. So, I will dive in with the current score board and feeling of actually hitting the golden perfect score. Personally I cannot see us ever hitting that perfect Eutopia as the next 50 movies are the last chances we have with IMDb rarely going over 9 in their scores and we end quite close to it in the next 50 movies the chance I fear is slipping away and we will end without one but we have come close 24 times so far. Close to me is within 7% and they will be included on here.

With that in mind what can you expect in the next 50 movies well I am not going to give you a full list here as it would defeat the purpose but we will be going from 82% scores up to 88% scored and on the subtitled non-English list we take the most in one section as we go from 8th place down to 3rd. There are more horrors creeping into the list as well as comedies and there is also not one not two but three black & white movies in the next 50. We are nearing the business end of this list so no doubt there will be much more opportunities for you to say things like –

HOW CAN YOU LIKE THIS MOVIE MORE THAN THAT ONE!

HOW DARE YOU GIVE THIS DUMPSTER FIRE THIS HIGH A SCORE and

WHERE IS MY FAVOURITE MOVIE DAMN YOU!!

I will finish this with the full current scoreboard of the Tri-Critic Sync Challenge and conclude my written bit here to respond with your complaints over the films and scores we have by saying a quote from Trump…

“it is what it is,”
